The GlucoSensor™ Q Starter Set is priced at €89.95. It includes two GlucoSensor™ Q sensors, each designed for up to 14 days of continuous glucose monitoring.
Together, the two sensors provide up to 4 weeks of continuous insight into your glucose patterns, giving you time to see how factors such as food, exercise, sleep and daily routines may affect your glucose levels.
No separate transmitter is required, so you can get started straight away. At €44.98 per sensor, the Starter Set is our recommended way to start with GlucoSensor Q.
Yes. The GlucoSensor™ Q sensor is CE-marked in accordance with the applicable requirements of the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
The CE marking indicates that the device has been assessed for conformity with the relevant European requirements for safety and performance.
GlucoSensor Q is designed and manufactured within the applicable European regulatory framework for medical devices, giving users the assurance that the sensor meets the required standards for its intended use.
At this time, GlucoSensor™ Q is primarily offered as a self-pay CGM system and we do not currently have reimbursement agreements with health insurers.
Coverage for CGM systems can vary depending on the country, insurer and individual policy. GlucoSensor Q is particularly intended to make continuous glucose monitoring more accessible to people who do not qualify for reimbursement but still want greater insight into their glucose patterns.
We therefore aim to keep GlucoSensor Q affordable and accessible without requiring insurance coverage. In the future, we may explore reimbursement opportunities with insurers where appropriate.
The GlucoSensor™ Q sensor has an IP27 water-resistance rating and is designed for normal daily activities, including showering and swimming.
The sensor can withstand temporary immersion in water, but should not be submerged deeper than 1 metre or for longer than 30 minutes. For extra security, particularly during swimming, exercise or activities that may affect adhesion, an overlay patch can be used to help keep the sensor firmly in place.
Please be aware that prolonged exposure to water, as well as chlorinated water in swimming pools or hot tubs, may affect sensor adhesion. After swimming or showering, gently dry the sensor and surrounding area and check that it remains securely attached.
If a GlucoSensor™ Q reading does not match how you feel or what you expect, check your glucose using a blood glucose meter before making treatment decisions. CGM readings are measured in interstitial fluid and may differ from blood glucose values, particularly when glucose levels are changing rapidly.
If the difference persists, check that the sensor is securely attached and follow the troubleshooting guidance in the GlucoSensor Q Instructions for Use. If you continue to experience unexpected readings, please contact GlucoSensor Customer Support for assistance.
Do not make treatment decisions based solely on a CGM reading if it does not match your symptoms or expectations. If you experience symptoms of severe hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia, seek medical attention immediately.
