The GlucoSensor™ Starter Kit is priced at €84.50. It includes two sensors that each last for 10 days, a reusable transmitter with a 3-year lifespan, and free adhesive overlay patches.
This makes it the most affordable way to start with CGM: only €37.50 for the transmitter (lasting 3 years) and an exceptionally low €23.50 per 10-day sensor.
The GlucoSensor™ Starter Kit includes two 10-day sensors and a reusable transmitter. For additional sensors, you can order individual sets of 3 sensors at €37.50 per sensor. Alternatively, you can opt for a quarterly subscription which includes 9 sensors at a price of €33.25 per sensor. The quarterly subscription also includes free shipping and can be easily paused or canceled. The transmitter is a one-time purchase as it lasts for 3 years. The Starter Kit is priced at €84.50. Yes, the GlucoSensor™ CGM is CE-certified, indicating that it complies with all applicable EU regulations for health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
We understand the critical role a CGM system plays in effective glucose management, understanding, and overall well-being. Currently, many individuals with Type 1 and Type 2 do not qualify for insurance reimbursement of CGM sensors and must cover these expenses out of pocket. To support this large group, we are offering our GlucoSensor™ sensors at a specially reduced price. Following our launch, we plan to engage in discussions with insurers to explore the possibility of having our sensors reimbursed in the near future.
The GlucoSensor™ CGM system is rated IPX7, making it waterproof and able to withstand exposure to water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. We strongly advise using an overlay patch to reinforce adhesion. GlucoSensor™ supplies two different types of overlay patches per sensor which can be used together for maximum protection. If moisture enters between the sensor and transmitter, detach the transmitter, wipe the area, and reconnect. Be cautious of exposure to chlorine such as in swimming pools or jacuzzis as chlorine acts as a solvent and can significantly increase the risk of the CGM becoming detached.
If your GlucoSensor™ CGM system displays abnormal values, you should always verify these readings with a finger prick test using a traditional blood glucose meter. This ensures the accuracy and reliability of your glucose readings. If the discrepancy persists, consult the GlucoSensor™ user manual and tutorials on the website for troubleshooting steps or contact customer support for further assistance. Regularly cross-checking your CGM readings with traditional methods helps maintain effective glucose management and accurate monitoring.
